| Knowledge level: Good |
| Plan activities for self-contained trips | Trip plans take into account:- Paddling consecutive days
- Preparation for expedition
- Water and food provisions
- Evacuation points
- Communication plan
- Group gear: shelter, toileting

Experience |
| Minimum log book requirement | In the previous three years:- Three self-contained, overnight trips in the relevant environment of a minimum of two days duration

Leadership |
| Coordinate group packing | Gear packing in craft takes into consideration:- Low in craft
- Centred in craft
- Vulnerable items are water tight
- Maintaining trim

| Coordinate overnight campsite activities | Activities include but are not limited to:- Cooking and stove safety
- Group shelter
- Tent setting
- Toileting/hygiene
- Fires
- Camp management

| Manage an overnight campsite | Campsite is used safely with group participants and public consideration abiding by PA Minimal Impact Guidelines |
