Whitewater Instructor / Guide Assessment Day Assessment for the Paddle Australia Award of either Guide or Instructor for guiding/teaching skills and leading trips on moving water up to, and including, Grade 2. You must supply at least 2 paddlers that you can deliver your assessment to. Ideally they would be novices but please discuss their suitability with your instructor prior to the course. Please contact education.tas@paddle.org.au if you are experiencing difficulty finding participants for your assessment. This course also consists of a quiz and a project. Both quiz and project MUST be completed prior to the practical component of this course. A log book must be submitted within 3 months of the course. Participants are expected to supply all their own equipment and relevant guide equipment including rescue equipment. Accommodation will be either camping or at the Arm River Camp. However, due to the nature of water availability in Tasmania participants are required to bring camping gear in the case that location must be changed. Participants must bring their own food and drinking water for the duration of the course. Paddle TAS Member price $175 Non-member price $225
