Course Information

Holdersrnof the Flatwater Guide Award are qualified to lead or guide trips on inland waters suchrnas open lakes and rivers (but not on whitewater or sea) in controlledrnconditions for inland kayaking and canoeing.

(iernyou are not “teaching” the art of canoeing / kayaking – morernsupervising a safe canoeing/kayak activity).  This is recommended forrnactivities such as at camps, school outings, general “experience” programs.

Course Cost $ 390.00 Flatwater Guide training costs include all equipment, access to Paddle Australia ONline resources as well as a Flatwater Guide Manual.

Please ensure you have been in contact with Paddle Victoria prior to registering for this course to ensure you have the appropriate skills and information to take part.
There will be a $170.00 fee to register your qualification with Paddle Australia for 3 years. You will only be invoiced for your PA registration once all requirements for the qualification have been completed and submitted to Paddle Australia.
