One of the joys of working alongside a wild and free-flowing river is that we need to be flexible and responsive to recent rainfall when choosing our course locations.
The course will be hosted in Northern NSW either on the Nymboida,Boorimbah/Birrinba/ Clarence rivers, depending on the conditions. I will try my best to expose you to a variety of places if possible.
Country: Githabul, Wahluhbal or Gumbaynggirr
Nearest Camping is dependent on our river course location.

Please note: the gravel road and driveway into the Clarence river Wilderness lodge and the Gorge is 2WD accessible although better suited to high clearance/4WD vehicles, particularly in the wet. Paddle Australia Whitewater Trainer/Assessor:
Laura Stampa - joinus@journeyoutdoorsinnature.com.au
I originally learnt to guide on the Orange river in South Africa in 2006 and have worked on the Nymboida and Clarence rivers for almost 15years now. I am the founding Director of Journey Outdoors in Nature, and am particularly passionate about multiday whitewater river journeys.. The rivers have taught me so much about life and I’m excited to be a part of your guiding journey.
*Please note I will not have reception the week prior to our course and only intermittent access to emails as I am guiding school groups on the river so thanks in advance for your patience with my replies
